We designed this 4-week workshop to help you release your stress though movement. We teach you exercises for breathing, stretching, balance, strength, neck rotation, and general coordination. We also work in pairs or groups. During lockdown, we work online via zoom. We take parts of exercises and create a full choreography with them.
This workshop / series of workshops empower(s) you to find and express your authentic self through movement. I work with inspiring music, props, abstract ideas, your own breathing, and social interaction to prompt your body to move freely.
This is for the ones who want to get some fun movement and work out without realising they are working out. We will use all concepts of DMB in a series of classes designed to build up your strength, your balance, your posture, to improve body awareness, and to inspire you to interact with people in fun ways.
During the first covid-19 lockdown in spring 2020 I created a series of videos from my then home in Belgium. I am sharing exercises from Margaret Morris Movement, which connect movement with breathing, creating patterns of dance. Every three exercises are groupped into a nice routine, e.g. energising routine, stretch and relax routine, strengthening routine, etc.
